The third edition of Book 2.0 in Lisbon brought together over 700 participants to discuss the importance of reading in Portugal. The event featured a notable appearance by the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, who emphasized that “not reading is renouncing the future.” Aiming to promote a national reading strategy, the conference promoted discussions on the impact of technology and artificial intelligence on the publishing sector, copyright protection, and the appreciation of the Portuguese language.
