The Aletria Itinerant Library is an open-air cultural center with books, musical instruments, and art materials freely available to all, designed for all ages and a wide range of interests. On its terrace, which opens out to the world, artistic workshops, debates, theater performances, concerts, and gatherings take place, promoting active citizenship, the exchange of ideas and free thought, knowledge and creativity, curiosity and wonder—making the book a radical tool for aesthetic experience and for celebrating the community’s well-being and joy of living. It lands in gardens, neighborhoods, city squares, schools, and events in tune with its bold and stirring spirit. An independent, non-profit project by the Cultural Association Casa Invisível.
