Ana Markl was born in Lisbon in 1979. She graduated in Modern Languages and Literature because she loved reading and writing but ended up studying Journalism at CENJOR. She worked at the Blitz newspaper to put her love of music to rest but has written on a wide range of cultural and social topics for publications such as Time Out, Sol and Expresso. She founded the Q channel in 2010, where she was a scriptwriter and presenter until 2016. She has presented, written and taken part in RTP programs. She recently left Antena 3’s Morning Show but is still on air and on stage with the podcast Voz de Cama. She is the author of “O Grande Compêndio de Audiogésicos da Doutora Ana Correia” and the children’s books “Onde Moram os Teus Macaquinhos?” and “Avó, Onde É Que Estavas no 25 de Abril?”. She translates children’s books but her favorite thing to do is making up stories with her son.
