Analita Alves dos Santos was born in 1974. She’s a writer, trainer, and literary activist who encourages people to “take care of the language.” She’s the director of the literary magazine PALAVRAR – Reading and Writing is Resistance, and also the founder of the project O Prazer da Escrita (“The Pleasure of Writing”), through which she runs writing workshops and literary events that have already reached thousands of people.

A former university professor, she now dedicates herself entirely to promoting reading and writing. Her book Erros de Português Nunca Mais, published in 2023, is still in high demand.

She curates one of the most dinamic online book clubs in Portugal, supported by the Plano Nacional de Leitura. She’s also a columnist for ÍMPAR (PÚBLICO newspaper) and writes a monthly literary review column for Sul Informação. She contributes to Wook’s literary blog, Wookacontece, and moderates the BOOK CLUB ESTANTE FNAC at Fnac Guia in the Algarve, as well as the online reading club Inspirar à Ação, sponsored by the publisher Lua de Papel. Alongside her work as an author, she regularly runs writing workshops and reading promotion sessions in schools, libraries, and book fairs.
