João Miguel Tavares was born in 1973 in Portalegre and has a degree in Communication Sciences from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He was a journalist for the newspaper Diário de Notícias and founder of Time Out magazine. He is a columnist for the newspaper Público, partner and publisher of the company 510, commentator on “Governo Sombra” and co-author of the program “E o Resto É História” on Observador radio. He has published two books of chronicles and four children’s books.
In 2019, he chaired the Day of Portugal Celebrations.
