Born in 1979. He grew up immersed in the cultural life of the city of Almada, among local newspapers and fanzines, garage bands and amateur theatre groups. At the age of 15, one of his short stories was published in an anthology of writers from Almada. A graduate of the Lisbon Theatre and Film School, he has been working in theatre, television series, cinema, advertising and training for 25 years. He is the founder of the band João e a Sombra, with two albums released. He wrote and directed two short films, Sobre-a-Mesa and Assalto, and produced the documentary Na Margem, A História do Rock em Almada. He is also co-founder of Aletria Biblioteca Itinerante, together with two friends.
