Luis Zueco was born in Borja, Zaragoza, and is a Spanish novelist, historian, researcher and photographer. He is also vice-president of the Association of Friends of the Castles of Aragon and director of the charming Hotel Castillo de Grisel. 

He has won several awards, such as the prize for the best Altoaragonés book of the year, the Honorable Mention in the Zaragoza International Prize, the Best Historical Thriller Award in the Historical Novels website competition in 2012 and was also selected for the Historical Novel Contest of the City of Úbeda. 

His works have been translated in several countries.
