Margarida Vaqueiro Lopes is a journalist, deputy editor of Visão magazine and editor of Exame magazine. Throughout her career, she has covered topics related to business, economics, management, human rights, sustainability and innovation. In 2020, she was awarded the Grand Prize for Economic Journalism for her work “O Dinheiro É Verde”, a report on green finance and environmental challenges. She also received also an honorable mention in the Human Rights & Integration Journalism Prize for its coverage of human dignity issues. Integration Journalism Award for its coverage of human dignity issues in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. She is the author of Girl Talk in Exame magazine and the blog Sambando em Lisboa, in the newspaper Estado de S. Paulo.
