Pedro Andersson was born in 1973 and fell in love with journalism as a teenager at Radio Clube da Covilhã, a local radio station. He graduated in Social Communication from the University of Beira Interior and began his professional career at TSF. In 2000, he was invited to be one of the founding journalists of the SIC Notícias television channel. He is still at SIC, as a coordinating journalist, and has been responsible since 2011 for the program “Contas-poupança”, dedicated to personal finance and a ratings leader in its time slot.

A journalist and writer in personal finances, Pedro Andersson is also the author of the successful series of books Contas-poupança, which already has four volumes and more than 45,000 copies sold.
