Pedro Rocha e Melo is the Executive Director of Academia TEN. He began his academic career as a research assistant to Professor Roberto Carneiro on a project linked to the Delors Report (1996). He played a key role in founding Escolinha de Rugby de Galicia, a social intervention project aimed at children and young people at risk, using rugby as a tool for inclusion.
With a degree in Management from the Nova School of Business and Economics and a Master’s degree in Education Sciences from the FCSH, Pedro Rocha e Melo was a member of the Board of Casa da Árvore, a private nursery school, for a period of four years and collaborated as a consultant on a project to review Nova SBE degrees.
Recently, he has expanded his knowledge through training in Logotherapy, Coaching and the Search Inside Yourself program. His work and studies have focused mainly on reforming current models of education and social intervention, with an emphasis on the human and relational dimension of these processes.
