With a degree in International Relations from the University of Lisbon (1995), she has dedicated herself exclusively to bibliotherapy as an independent professional since 2016. To this end, she has added an International Coaching Practitioner Certificate (2016) to her Pedagogical Skills Certificate (2013), training in Bibliotherapy for Children and Youth at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Porto (2016) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Bibliotherapy and Literary Reading Mediation from the Community University of the Chapecó Region in Brazil (2022). She accompanies private and corporate clients in bibliotherapeutic processes, coordinates bibliotherapeutic projects in various institutions (educational establishments, companies, associations, hospitals, etc.), organizes training sessions on bibliotherapy and the promotion of reading, produces content on bibliotherapy and organizes events on bibliotherapy and reading for partner organizations. In 2024, she published “Ler Para Viver – How bibliotherapy can improve our lives” under the Nascente imprint. She is also the author of two books about her travels: “Around the World with Readers” (Relógio d’ Água, 2017) and “Three Times Iran: Annotated Journeys” (Edições Húmus, 2021).
