Sara Rodi has studied Communication Sciences and Screenwriting in Lisbon (FCSH) and Barcelona (Univ. Pompeu Fabra) and has been working as a writer and screenwriter since 2000. She has published more than forty books and has also authored and co-authored several television fiction products. Highlights for adults include the novels O Quanto Amei – Fernando Pessoa e as Mulheres da Sua Vida, D. Estefânia – Um Trágico Amor and D. Teresa de Távora – A Amante do Rei. For younger readers, the collections The Twins (a continuation of Enid Blyton’s work. The first two volumes she wrote have also been published in Spain), Escola das Artes (adapted into a film) and Clássicos a Brincar (with adaptations for the theater).

In the field of non-fiction, she has worked on writing and editing numerous specialized books, and has produced personalized biographies with limited print runs through her company O Livro da Minha Vida (The Book of My Life). She has been a columnist for various publications and has presented programs on childhood and adolescence on Canal S+.

She is a member of the Women Writers Club and participates as a speaker at meetings dedicated to reading and writing, education and sustainability.
