Emile is a Mathematics graduate from Utrecht University, currently finishing a dual Master degree in International Management through the CEMS Alliance at Nova SBE & Koc University.  He founded Philoxenia - a volunteer-based network committed to promote informal education - in which he accumulated over 100.000€ in funding directing project proposals involving universities, NGOs and businesses. Additionally, as member of a transdisciplinary team consisting of internationally recognized artists and scientists, he was facilitator in The Unthinkable Experiment: an award-winning project initiated by Koen Vanmechelen and supported by major universities in Belgium to seek alternative ways in creating new knowledge. Recently, he founded Philo-X: an on-boarding start-up in which he already facilitated the first pilot program for 80 students in the CEMS Master of International Management. Emile was previously part of the Estoril Conferences task force to organize a two-day conference attracting over 4000 participants and authored the Purpose Generation Declaration which he presented at the event's opening. He had other professional roles including university teaching assistant, exam coach and president of different student committees. His passion for culture has led him to visit over forty countries with international living experience across Belgium, Netherlands, Singapore, Portugal and Turkiye. In his free time, he composes music and performs in different concerts.
