Isabel Lucas has a degree in Communication from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. As a journalist and literary critic, she writes regularly for the newspaper Público and contributes to various publications, especially in the areas of culture and travel. Over the past few years, she has been living between Lisbon and New York. She is the author of the books "Conversas com Vicente Jorge Silva" and "Viagem ao sonho americano" (Companhia das Letras, 2017), a literary journey - and more - to the United States of America. "Viagem ao país do futuro" is the result of a journey through Brazil, starting from its literature; a trip told throughout a year in reports published in the newspaper Público.
