Manager at Bertrand Círculo since 2016, Miguel Pauseiro was unanimously elected President of the Portuguese Publishers and Booksellers Association (APEL) in February 2025. Under his leadership, APEL aims to promote reading, author rights, and the Portuguese book trade.
