GENERAL INFORMATION

The second edition of Book 2.0 will be held on the 5th and 6th of September 2024.

Book 2.0 will take place:

September 5th – 09:15 am to 05:00 pm

September 6th – 09:00 am to 12:30 pm

There is street parking near-by the venue, with a day-long parking ticket option available. There is also a public parking lot close-by (Estacionamento Alcântara Rocha).

Yes, all sessions will be recorded and uploaded to Book 2.0’s Youtube Channel shortly after the event.

No. Some sessions will be held in English, others in Portuguese and others in Spanish. There will be translation devices available at the venue.

The Museum’s Restaurant and Cafeteria will be open to the public between 10.00 and 18.00, on both days. Nearby the Museu do Oriente, there are several restaurant options available, for example in the Santo Amaro Docks.

REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN

You can register for Book 2.0, by visiting our [Registration Page] and filling out the registration form.

No. Registering for Book 2.0 is free of charge.

No, on-site registration will not be available, so we recommend registering in advance to secure your spot.

Yes, you can bring guests, though each guest must also register for the event.

You should receive a confirmation email once your registration is complete. If you don’t receive one, please contact us at info.book@apel.pt so that we may confirm that your registration was done successfully.

After submitting your registration, you will receive an automatic email with a QR Code. Please show bring this QR Code for check-in at the venue.

Often, the email provider blocks images thus blocking the QR code. In this case, please bring your id card and state your name for check-in at the venue.

Since we have limited seating, we ask that if you may not attend Book 2.0, please contact us at info.book@apel.pt so that we may remove your registration.

Book 2.0 organization is working to ensure the best experience for all participants. Given the limited number of seats available, we have created a waiting list so that, if new places become available, we can confirm these registrations. If this vacancy is confirmed, we will notify you via email by September 4th, at 10:00 am.

If it is not possible to confirm your registration, we would like to remind you that we will upload all the sessions onto our Youtube and Spotify. channels.
