The President of Portugal, António José Seguro, announced the return of the Book Festival to the gardens of the Palácio de Belém, continuing an initiative created by his predecessor, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
This year’s edition will take place from September 17 to 20 and will once again be organized in partnership with APEL. The event celebrates books, reading, and meetings between readers and Portuguese-speaking authors.
The program will include debates, live interviews, book presentations, concerts, open-air cinema, as well as dedicated areas for children and young people, food stalls, and outdoor seating areas.
