David Hayman is the Director of the National Year of Reading, where he leads a nationwide campaign to promote reading for pleasure across the United Kingdom. He has more than 15 years of experience in campaigns, strategy, and advocacy across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, working with organizations including the ONE Campaign, Educate Girls India, The Prince’s Trust, and Global Citizen.

Most recently, Hayman helped launch and lead Make My Money Matter, a public campaign founded by filmmaker Richard Curtis. During his five years with the organization, he helped advance sustainable finance initiatives and support efforts to secure £1 trillion in sustainable investment through banks, investors, and pension funds.
