Sanna Marin is a Finnish politician and former Prime Minister of Finland. She holds a Master of Administrative Sciences from the University of Tampere and became the world’s youngest sitting prime minister in 2019 at the age of 34.
During her tenure from 2019 to 2023, Marin led Finland through the COVID-19 pandemic and played a key role in the country’s historic accession to NATO in 2023. Prior to serving as Prime Minister, she was Minister of Transport and Communications and chaired Finland’s Social Democratic Party.
Since leaving office, Marin has become a prominent international voice on leadership, democracy, security, and sustainability, speaking at major global forums and advising organizations on geopolitical and societal challenges.
