Luísa Sobral is one of Portugal’s most acclaimed singer-songwriters, with an international career that has taken her to stages and festivals around the world. Since her debut album The Cherry on My Cake (2011), she has released several acclaimed records and established herself as a distinctive voice in Portuguese music.

A versatile artist, she is also an author, composer, and producer. She wrote “Amar Pelos Dois,” performed by her brother Salvador Sobral, which won the Eurovision Song Contest for Portugal in 2017. Alongside her music, she has published books for children and adults, including the bestselling novel Nem Todas as Árvores Morrem de Pé (2025). Her eighth album, Cartas de Desamor, is set for release in October 2026.
