Daniela Pierre is a Brazilian advertising professional, reading mediator, and cultural organizer who has lived in Portugal since 2017. Passionate about books and the connections they create, she founded the Vilarejo Reading Club in 2022 to bring readers together through meaningful conversations and a curated selection of diverse literary voices.

Based in Portugal, Pierre organizes cultural and educational events centered on reading, literature, and community engagement. Guided by a strong interest in people and their stories, she also launched a social project that brings reading clubs to prisons, beginning at the Women’s Prison of Matosinhos, with the goal of expanding access to literature and fostering dialogue through reading.
