Rebecca Jones is a journalist and broadcaster who worked for the BBC for nearly 30 years, as the Arts Correspondent and Chief News Presenter. She also presented the television books programmes Meet the Author and Talking Books.  

She has judged arts awards including the Costa Book Awards, the British Book Awards and Museum of the Year. She regularly chairs conferences and hosts public talks and events for a range of organisations including the Cheltenham and Hay Literature Festivals, the Royal Ballet and Opera and the Royal Shakespeare Company.  

She serves on the board of Dancers’ Career Development and is a former Trustee of the Birmingham Royal Ballet and The Barber Institute of Fine Arts.
