Ana Pimentel is the co-founder and managing partner of À/Parte, a new literary project that connects people to the stories that move them. She is also the author of the book Unicórnios Portugueses – A história das startups de mil milhões de dólares. Before becoming an entrepreneur, she had a career in journalism. She wrote for media such as Jornal de Negócios, Exame and Expresso until she joined the Observador newsroom, first as a journalist and then as editor. In 2015 and 2016 she won the Economic Journalism Award in the Financial Markets category; and in 2018 and 2019 she was a finalist for the National Innovation Journalism Award. She also worked for Grupo Leya and hosted an interview podcast in partnership with Jornal Económico, Ideias Com Nome Próprio.
