Fabian Paagman is the co-president of the European and International Booksellers Federation (EIBF). He is also the owner and managing director of Paagman Bookshops, a well-known family-owned chain of bookstores in The Hague and surrounding areas in the Netherlands. Paagman represents the third generation of his family to run the business, which has expanded to include multiple locations.

In addition to his role at EIBF, where he has served since 2014, Paagman has been active in promoting policies that support independent booksellers across Europe. His advocacy focuses on maintaining cultural diversity in the book industry and adapting to the challenges posed by digital transformation.
