With a degree in Business Communication, Mariana Alvim worked in Marketing for seven years. At the same time, she took a course in Radio Journalism and several in creative writing. After working for a multinational and a television channel, she decided to drop everything and follow one of her passions: writing. He became a scriptwriter and was part of the writing team for national soap operas. A few storylines later, he accepted an invitation to change areas and entered the wonderful world of radio.

After almost 10 years on “Café da Manhã”, she now takes listeners home with Pedro Fernandes from 6pm to 8pm on “6PM”. He has written books for teenagers and created a podcast about books in which he interviews artists as readers, called “Vale a Pena”.
