Rita da Nova graduated in Communication Sciences, from the Nova University of Lisbon, hoping to become a journalist but quickly discovered other forms of communication that she enjoyed much more, such as marketing and advertising where she was able to pursue a career in Strategy as well as writing a blog about traveling and books. In 2021, she published, with Guilherme Fonseca, the humor book Terapia de Casal. Her latest book As Coisas Que Faltam (2023) is her first novel. In addition to being a writer, Rita da Nova is a digital content creator and an advertising strategist.
