Adolfo Mesquita Nunes is a Portuguese lawyer, public policy expert and former politician. He served as Secretary of State for Tourism from 2013 to 2015, helping to strengthen one of Portugal’s leading economic sectors through policies focused on competitiveness, investment and international promotion. Before joining the government, he was a Member of Parliament and Vice-President of the CDS–People’s Party. 

Following his public service, he returned to legal practice while remaining an active participant in public debate as a commentator on political, economic and international affairs. Combining experience in law, government and public policy, Adolfo Mesquita Nunes is recognised for his contributions to discussions on governance, economic development and the future of Portugal.
