On September 3 and 4, 2025, Book 2.0 returns for its third edition, this time at the Champalimaud Foundation. Organized by APEL, Book 2.0 is an event open to the public, bringing together publishers, authors, researchers, and readers to reflect on the future of books, reading, and knowledge.
The 3rd edition of Book 2.0 invites us to reflect on the role of knowledge and books in building a more conscious and resilient society. Under the theme “The Reinvention of Species,” the program aims to explore the role of books and literacy in society, the impact of digital transition and artificial intelligence on the publishing industry, the promotion of the Portuguese language, the future of libraries and bookstores, and much more.
Book 2.0 remains a collective mission in support of books and knowledge. More than just an event, it is a meeting space for all who believe in the transformative power of reading.
