The official presentation of the 4th edition of Book 2.0 took place on July 1st, at the Altis Belém Hotel, in Lisbon. The gathering brought together partners, journalists, and members of the Book community, in a session reserved for those who have already experienced this event closely.
Under the theme “Back to Basics. Back to Books.”, was unveiled first-hand the main news of the 2026 edition, taking place on September 15th and 16th at the Centro Cultural de Belém. The programme and confirmed speakers who will shape this conference were revealed — a conference centred on the role of books in education, culture, and democracy, questioning how we can safeguard the conditions that allow reading to continue to exist, circulate, and remain meaningful for future generations.
The occasion also served to thank those who have supported the project throughout its four editions, and to renew the invitation to keep building, together, this community dedicated to reflecting on the present and future of reading.
