Emma House is the founder of Oreham Group, an international publishing consultancy focused on event curation, project management, business development, and publishing research. She is the former Deputy CEO of the Publishers Association (UK) and previously held senior positions at the London Book Fair, following six years in international B2B magazine publishing.

Through Oreham Group, Emma manages Quick Reads, the adult literacy initiative run by The Reading Agency; chairs the Executive Steering Group of the Scholarly Networks Security Initiative; and curates the Sharjah Publishers and Booksellers Conferences. She also advises Shimmr AI and Editrix AI, and regularly works with organizations including the British Council, Libraries Connected, and WIPO.

Emma is Vice-Chair of the Trustees of the Publishing Training Centre and serves on the Advisory Board of the Oxford Centre for International Publishing Studies. She is a columnist for BookBrunch and a contributor to Digital Publishing Review.
