An award-winning journalist and writer, Isabel Nery has published several non-fiction works, including: Sophia – A Biography, Siege of Parliament, The 5 Men Who Changed Portugal, and The Prisoners. Two of her books have been adapted into short films. A researcher published by Springer-Nature (Our Brain and the News, 2024), she holds a PhD in Communication Sciences, is research chair of the International Association for Literary Journalism Studies (IALJS), and founder of the Association for Media and Journalism Literacy (ALPMJ).
