Joan Tarrida is a Spanish publisher and editor who has spent more than three decades in the publishing industry. Since 2004, he has served as the Managing Director and Publisher of Galaxia Gutenberg, helping expand its catalog and establish it as one of the leading independent publishers in the Spanish-speaking world.

Before joining Galaxia Gutenberg, Tarrida held leadership positions at Plaza & Janés and Círculo de Lectores, two major publishing organizations in Spain. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with renowned authors and literary projects, contributing to the promotion of literature, humanities, and cultural dialogue across Spain and Latin America.
